INTERVIEW QUESTIONS FOR MR. MELLOTT

1. What is your take on one rock dams, or even check dams?

2. Do you think that these are very effective or do you think there is a better solution to decrease erosion? If you think there is a better solution, what would that be?

3. Where do you see one rock dams work most effectively? And at what time of the year is there the most use for it?

4) What types of plants do you suggest to plant in the drain where the dam is built?

These are pictures of the site before the construction of the dam. As one can see, it is quite barren and there is lots of erosion. Building a one rock dam will help this situation.
